Laptop Repairs in Adelaide — We Come to You

A laptop that won't behave usually turns up at the worst time — the night before an assignment is due, or right when the invoices need to go out. We repair Windows laptops across metropolitan Adelaide, travelling to your home, office or small business so you don't have to pack up and drop it somewhere.

Most visits start with a proper look at the fault. We'll tell you what's wrong, what it's likely to cost and whether repairing makes sense for a laptop of that age. If it doesn't, we'll say so.

Mobile and remote service across metropolitan Adelaide · Free pick-up and return for workshop repairs · 90-day parts & labour warranty

How we diagnose & repair

  1. 1

Start with the symptom, not a guess

We ask when the problem started, what changed (an update, a drop, a spill) and what you've already tried. That history often narrows things down faster than any tool.

  2. 2

    Test the obvious parts first

Charger, battery health, storage health, memory and temperature readings are checked before anyone recommends a new motherboard. Plenty of 'dead' laptops turn out to have a failed charger or a corrupted update.

  3. 3

    A clear recommendation

You'll get the likely cause, the repair options, the parts involved and the price before we start. If the laptop is old enough that a replacement is the better spend, we'll tell you and help move your files across.

Repair options

On-site repair

Software problems, upgrades, many battery and keyboard swaps, and general clean-ups can often be done at your place.

Workshop repair with free pick-up

Board-level faults, liquid damage and some screen replacements need bench time. We pick up your laptop and return it once it's repaired and tested, free of charge.

Remote fix

If it turns on and connects to the internet, many software faults can be fixed remotely in a single session.

What to expect

  • Parts for some models need to be ordered in — we'll give you a time estimate with the quote.
  • Some laptops have soldered memory and storage, which limits what can be upgraded or recovered.
  • Please back up anything important if you can. We take care with data, but failing drives can lose files during any repair.
  • We're an independent repairer and not affiliated with any laptop manufacturer.

Frequently asked questions

How much does a laptop repair cost?

It depends on the fault, the brand and the part. Once we've identified the problem you'll get a fixed quote, and nothing goes ahead until you approve it.

Do you really come to me?

Yes. We visit homes, offices and businesses across metropolitan Adelaide and nearby Hills towns. If a repair needs workshop time, pick-up and return are free.

Is there a warranty?

Yes. Hardware repairs come with a 90-day parts and labour warranty. If the same fault returns within 90 days, we pick up, repair and return your laptop free of charge.

Is my laptop worth repairing?

As a rough guide, if the repair costs more than about half of a comparable new laptop, or the laptop is more than six or seven years old, replacing may make more sense. We'll give you an honest view either way.
