Data Recovery for Laptops, PCs, Macs & Drives

When photos, work documents or business records are on a device that won't start, the priority shifts from fixing the computer to getting the files back safely. The first rule: stop using the device. Every restart of a failing drive risks more damage.

We assess the device, explain what's realistically recoverable and the likely cost, and only proceed with your approval. Some cases need specialist cleanroom recovery; if so, we'll tell you plainly and help you arrange it.

How we diagnose & repair

  1. 1

    Stop further damage

We assess the drive without writing anything to it.

  2. 2

    Image before recovery

Where possible we copy the drive first and recover from the copy, protecting the original.

  3. 3

    Verify what's recovered

You can check key files before they're copied to your new drive or backup.

What to expect

  • Recovery is never guaranteed, especially with physical damage or overwritten files.
  • Mechanical hard drive failures may need a specialist cleanroom service at higher cost.
  • Encrypted drives need the password or recovery key.
  • Your data is handled privately and not browsed beyond what's needed to verify recovery.

Frequently asked questions

Can deleted files be recovered?

Often, if the drive hasn't been heavily used since. Stop using it as soon as you notice.

My hard drive is clicking — what should I do?

Turn it off and leave it off. Clicking often means mechanical failure, and running it can make recovery harder.

Will you look through my files?

No. We only check enough to confirm the recovery worked — for example, that folders open and photos display.
