When a laptop is completely dead, won't charge, or has no picture even on an external screen, the problem can be on the motherboard: a failed power component, a short circuit, corrosion from liquid, or a graphics fault.
Board work is detailed and not every board is economical to repair. We'll diagnose first, then give you a clear choice — component repair, a replacement board where available, recovering your data, or putting the money toward a new machine.

Frequently asked questions
Can a dead laptop be fixed?
Often, yes. Many 'dead' laptops have a charger, battery or RAM fault. If it is the board, component-level repair may still be possible.
Will I lose my files?
If your laptop has a removable SSD, data is usually recoverable even if the board can't be fixed. Soldered storage is harder — tell us early if your files matter.
How long does board repair take?
Longer than most repairs. We'll give you a time estimate after diagnosis.
